Marijke van Bodengraven

Marijke has been involved in Impact Investing since 2011 when she joined the SOCAP/Pymwymic Team in Amsterdam to help set up the first SOCAP/Europe conference. Ever since she has been organizing the Impact Days - ten editions by now - and other impact investing events with great fun and dedication.
 
Coming from an activist Dutch family, she feels passionate about what you can achieve for the world by focusing on the social and environmental impact of your investments. From an early age, Marijke has been supporting and participating in projects to protect nature.
 
Marijke has an international background having lived and worked on different continents including Africa, Latin America and the United States. For over 25 years Marijke worked in marketing, business development, management and held board positions for national and international corporations, both publicly and privately held.
 
She is a professional business mediator and was an expert for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Marijke has a doctoral degree in German, a bachelor in Portuguese, and an MBA from Florida International University in the United States.
