Michiel is involved in philanthropy and impact investment. He has five years of experience in impact investing. After selling his HR consultancy firm, he began exploring ways to use the proceeds to contribute positively to society. He is most attracted to climate-tech investments. East Africa also has his special attention. He has a dozen direct investments and participates in several impact funds.

As a PYM ambassador and Corekees shareholder, he works to make impact investing accessible to more people.
