Remco grew up in an entrepreneurial family with a strong sense of responsibility and a clear connection to the community. After law school, he began a career in banking and insurance. In the late 1990s, he founded his first company in the insurance industry, followed by others in online, real estate and hotel operations. Getting involved in the community has always played a major role in his professional and personal life.

Since returning to the Netherlands in 2018, Remco is fully committed to mentoring and investing in impact-driven businesses.
He is one of the mentors of the upcoming PYM Impact Circle in Rotterdam.
