Renée comes from an entrepreneurial Dutch family with a business history of over 325 years. She started her impact journey with a direct investment in a social impact company in Vietnam, set up by a Dutch friend. This was her introduction into the world of impact investing.

With her family, Renée set up a foundation that invests in various impact funds focused on Africa and on the Netherlands. Making an impact has become a very powerful theme in her consultancy on intergenerational succession.
