Wieteke
Wieteke has a background in biology and neuroscience. At the end of 2019, she had the opportunity to change her impact by getting involved in the world of impact investing. Now, she is a new generation asset manager and works together with her mother and sister to steer their investment portfolio towards impact.
For Wieteke, most of the crises we face stem from a disconnect between humans and the rest of nature. She dedicates her time and resources to exploring how we, as humans, can reconnect with our own nature and the rest of the natural world. Food is a simple way in which we interact with our environment. That is why Wieteke teaches about growing vegetables at school, creating a permaculture garden, and investing in regenerative agriculture. She is intrigued by trying to understand complex systems and is therefore interested in investing with a systems change approach.
