Willemijn is a social worker who is passionate about generating social impact in her immediate environment. She works for Humanitas, a Dutch NGO supporting people who temporarily cannot manage on their own. She also wants to catalyse change in the wider world through sustainable and social investments. 

Willemijn and her husband started an ophthalmology company in the Netherlands. After selling the company, they started investing more and more in various impact investment funds and direct investments focusing on financial inclusion in Africa, Latin America and Asia. They also focus on climate technology in various sectors and invest in carefully selected listed securities that generate impact.
