Ali is co-founder and Managing Partner of 4Impact Capital, a venture capital firm focused on groundbreaking software ventures in Europe that generate positive impact and strong financial returns. Before founding 4Impact Capital, Ali held leading global roles at Goldman Sachs, Mubadala Investment Company, GE, and Egon Zehnder. 

He has been an impact investor since 2009, including a variety of European angel investments. With a deep interest in digital technology, Ali holds a BA and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Delft and an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School.
