Paul Buysens is co-CEO of Incofin, an impact investment company active in emerging markets in sectors ranging from financial inclusion to sustainable agri-food value chains to drinking water. The company supports inclusive progress and sustainable transitions through private equity investments, debt financing, and technical assistance. The Incofin team is based in Belgium, Colombia, Kenya, India, and Cambodia, and it has invested USD 3 billion over the last 20 years. 

Paul Buysens joined Incofin in 2017 as COO and has been co-CEO since 2022, focusing primarily on fund development and investor relations. Before joining Incofin, Paul worked for 10 years as a finance executive at General Electric (GE Capital) and 3 years as an auditor at Deloitte. Paul holds a Master's in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp.
