Rakan is an Investor Relations Associate at Goodwell Investments, a leading growth equity provider in the thriving African tech ecosystem.

With a robust background in social and environmental impact, Rakan previously served on the investment team at Kompas VC, focusing on urban tech investments, and worked as a development consultant for VE-R and the World Bank in Dar es Salaam. Specializing in spatial resilience in emerging markets, he is passionately committed to mobilizing capital to Africa to drive meaningful social and environmental progress.
Rakan holds an MEng in Metropolitan Analysis, Design, and Engineering from Delft University, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Geography and Environmental Science from Oxford University.
