Frank's Friday

Friday 28 November 2025
17:00 - 20:00 in Amsterdam

Once a month, PYM co-founder Frank van Beuningen hosts a get-together at his home in Amsterdam to bring together wealth holders. Each month, a speaker introduces a new topic worth exploring.

These meetings are by invitation only and open to private wealth holders. If you are interested in joining, please email us; also if you've joined Frank's Friday before. We have limited seats available, so without email confirmation you are not able to join.

This time, together with Koen van Seijen (Investing in Regenerative Agriculture podcast) and Dan Kittredge (The Bionutrient Institute), we will focus on regenerative agriculture in general and research into bionutrients in particular.

Koen van Seijen

Koen van Seijen is a regenerative agriculture and food expert who has been exploring the potential of regenerative farming to sequester carbon since 2011. He is the founder and host of the Investing in Regenerative Agriculture and Food podcast. He also works at Toniic, a global community of asset owners seeking deeper positive net impact across the capital spectrum.

Over the last decade, through 400 podcast interviews with investors, fund managers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and farmers, Koen explored the role of money and entrepreneurship in regenerating soils, ecosystems, and communities worldwide. He will share his key lessons learned and identify opportunities for entrepreneurs and impact investors.

Especially over the last 18 months, Koen has seen an influx of talented and experienced entrepreneurs who have built businesses and organisations before and are now diving deep into the world of soil. This is very exciting, although, of course, we need to be cautious. Will their impact be deep and profound enough to shift the food and agriculture system? The real revolution in agriculture over the next 10 years is based on sunlight, soil, and superior returns.

Dan Kittredge

For more than a decade, Dan Kittredge has been teaching his concepts and practices as an organic farmer worldwide. In 2010, he founded The Bionutrient Food Association with a singular, simplistic vision: "increasing quality in the food supply." This resonating message has filled workshops and speaking engagements with farmers and consumers alike, hungry for answers.

A born leader in this field, Dan has solidified himself as an expert in the world of "nutrient density" and biological, or regenerative, agriculture. Through this mission, the Bionutrient Institute was launched to demonstrate the connections between nutrient density and soil, plant, and human health. It is thé place where science is being used to build a nutrient-dense food supply. Soil health is intimately connected to plant, animal, environmental, and human health.  We need to deepen the understanding of those connections and thereby support the potential of Life.

Dan intends to collaborate with allies who also see the opportunities to make the focus of agriculture be quality and nutrition – this will then support the systems that provide sustenance, sustainability, and human evolution.
Dan is currently touring the world, garnering consensus for defining the spectrum of nutrient quality in our food.

Who is Frank?

Frank is one of the founding fathers of impact investing in Europe after he first learned about it in the United States in the early 1990s. He now has a more than 30-year track record of investing his capital for good.

In 1994, he started Pymwymic, the “Put Your Money Where Your Meaning is Community”. Under his leadership, the first pioneers in impact investing brought Ben & Jerry’s to the Netherlands and invested in around fifty start-ups, including the disruptive FairPhone. Since 2017, the ever-growing cooperative of European investors has focused on regenerative agriculture and healthy food. The funds are managed in a Steward Ownership structure.

Frank  has launched many other initiatives to develop impact investing in Europe. He is a founding member of the Donor Impact Invest Fund

He continues to Put His Money Where His Mouth Is, as an investor and advisor in multiple impact enterprises and initiatives. His passion is sailing, and he loves nature.

What is PYM

PYM is an independent foundation that connects and guides wealth owners to invest their capital consciously for a better world. We are a peer-to-peer community of families, philanthropists, individual investors, family offices, and foundations.
We believe in the power of money as a force for good. That is why we promote listed and non-listed impact investing. You can invest successfully in businesses, directly or through funds, that have a purpose beyond profit.

We focus on investors in the Benelux, but we welcome everyone who shares our goals to join us.
