Simon Pickard

Board member Toniic & private investor

Simon will share his vision as an impact investment professional and experience as a private investor investing in public equity.

Simon is a British-Swiss national who lives in Geneva with his wife and two teenage daughters. He has lived and worked throughout the world, working in shipping and agriculture in Asia and Australasia before converting to fund management. He spent 25 years in London, Paris, and Geneva running public equity funds investing primarily in global emerging markets, with a particular focus on China, India, Brazil, and Eastern Europe.

Since 2019, he has worked as a consultant to Union Bancaire Privée's impact investing franchise, where he also chairs the impact investment and biodiversity committees. He is involved in venture capital in the renewable agriculture and food systems sector, both as a member of Pymwymic's investment committee and as a general partner at Future Foodways. As a private investor in impact, he has been an active member of Toniic's 100% Network since 2019 and a PYMer since 2020.

Simon is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in London.

Vincent Triesschijn

Head Sustainable Investment, ABN AMRO

Vincent Triesschijn is Head Sustainable Investing at ABN AMRO, where he leads a global team focused on sustainability in investments, corporate engagement, and ESG strategy. With his broad experience and vision, he plays a key role in shaping the bank’s sustainable investment approach.

Vincent has worked in the investment world since 2006, previously holding positions at UBS, J.P. Morgan, and Van Lanschot Kempen. He earned his master’s degree in sustainability from the University of Cambridge. At ABN AMRO, he is responsible for integrating sustainability into investment decisions, guiding clients in impact investing, and implementing ESG-related regulations.
Under his leadership, assets in ESG investments grew from €5 billion in 2014 to over €50 billion in 2024. ABN AMRO recently won the European WealthBriefing Award for impact investing. Vincent sees a growing number of clients combining sustainability with financial returns and helps them invest in companies with clear transition plans or ESG leadership.

Outside of his role at the bank, Vincent coaches sustainable start-ups and is involved in social enterprises and academic networks, including Bridges for Enterprise and Net Impact.

Sjoerd Rozing

Fund Manager, Triodos Investment Manager

Sjoerd Rozing is the fund manager of the Triodos Future Generations Fund, which invests in publicly listed companies that contribute to the well-being of children worldwide. He played a key role in launching the fund and is a pioneer in Child-Lens Investing, placing children's welfare at the heart of investment decisions.

Sjoerd has worked at Triodos Investment Management for many years, previously focusing on sustainability analysis and corporate engagement. His experience in impact investing, combined with a strong commitment to long-term value creation, makes him a driving force behind the fund. He aims to encourage companies to consider children as stakeholders, to build a healthier, fairer, and more sustainable future.

Under his leadership, the fund supports companies that promote equal opportunities, health, safety, and education for children, today and for generations to come.
