Women's Wealth Matters - How do you relate to your wealth?
Tuesday 8 november 2022, 15:00 - 18:00 CET

This event is for female wealth holders only. If you know women who are interested in giving meaning to their money, please forward this link. We would love to include them!

This session is for women with wealth to explore how they relate to money; the beautiful things it has brought them such as impact investing, as well as the more challenging aspects.

Wealth is a rather taboo topic in our European society, so we hardly ever have the opportunity to talk about it, let alone share and open up with other women of wealth.

The source of our wealth can be numerous:

  • Your wealth was self-made. Maybe you accumulated wealth during your corporate life or by building a company that was later sold. Has this changed your identity? How has it been to transition to more of an investor role?
  • Your wealth was inherited either at a young age or at a later stage in life. If later in life, how do you speak to your children about wealth? Or if you are a next-gen, how does your parents' wealth impact your life? And regardless of when you inherited it, how has that impacted your relationships with others (i.e. partner, family, friends)?
  • Your wealth comes to you via your partner. Maybe you did not grow up with a lot of money and had to adjust to a very different environment. Maybe you have separated from your partner and you have had to fight over the money.

During our two-hour online session, we will dive into these questions and have a select number of women open up about both the incredible opportunities that wealth has brought in being able to deploy their resources in a conscious way, as well as the challenges that wealth has brought.

In breakout groups there will be space to share your own experiences and get to know each other, for those who feel comfortable.

Did you know that women invest differently than men?

Women are more likely to invest in social enterprises. Quite a few women play a leading role in impact investing.

With Women’s Wealth Matters (WWM) we facilitate conversation among women about a wide range of topics. What is your relationship with money? How do you find your purpose, how would you like to make a difference with your capital? What do you expect from your investments?

WWM is an ongoing series of events for female wealth holders only.

Why attend WWM?

  • Join a diverse network of women: seasoned investors, entrepreneurs, and nextgens
  • Gain more clarity about your purpose to invest for good
  • Walk away with new insights, ideas, and connections
  • It's a safe space for female wealth holders only
