Monday, April 13th | Our Family's Journey: from Wealth to Impact
Caroline Huyskes advises enterprising families and family businesses on governance, strategy, finance, and the long-term stewardship of wealth. Born into an entrepreneurial family herself, she has been familiar with the dynamics of family wealth from an early age, which has shaped both her professional path and her personal perspective on capital and responsibility.
Caroline studied Business Economics at the University of Groningen and began her career in investment banking, where she worked for twelve years. She later spent 13 years as a Partner at the private equity firm Egeria, focusing on building and growing companies across sectors.
Over the past decade, Caroline has worked as an advisor and supervisory board member for family businesses and entrepreneurial families, helping them navigate questions around governance, continuity, and responsible wealth stewardship. Alongside this work, she has held leadership roles within the world of golf at both national and international levels.
Around two years ago, Caroline and her family began their own journey into impact investing and philanthropy. This experience fundamentally reshaped her relationship with wealth, seeing it not only as capital to manage but as a tool to create positive change.
In her keynote "Our Family's Impact Journey: From Wealth to Impact," Caroline shares a personal perspective on how families can translate intention into action, exploring how wealth can be used responsibly to contribute to a better future.
