Monday, April 13th | Breakout: Circular Material Use: Investing in Modular Solutions
As an impact investor at Fair Capital Impact Fund, Jasper Snoek works at the intersection of finance and impact, driven by a strong belief that capital should contribute to a more just and sustainable world.
Early in his career, a project in Tanzania shaped his perspective on investing. Supporting a flower grower in raising financing, he was confronted with the gap between financial success and social and environmental responsibility. This experience reinforced his conviction that money should be used as a means to improve how we live, work, and relate to one another.
Jasper later served as Chief Financial Officer at Stichting DOEN, where he helped deploy capital through both grants and investments. During this time, he supported thousands of pioneering initiatives and contributed to investments in more than 100 innovative green and social companies and funds.
Today, Jasper works with foundations, associations, and families who want to align their capital with their values, helping them build portfolios that combine financial returns with meaningful societal impact.
He is driven by a fundamental question: why do we continue to operate beyond the limits of our planet when better alternatives already exist? His work focuses on enabling capital to support solutions that restore balance between people, society, and nature.
During the breakout session "Circular Material Use: Investing in Modular Solutions," Jasper Snoek joins fellow speakers from Revive and Sagana Capital to explore how investment can accelerate circular solutions in the built environment and materials economy.
