Liza Rubinstein is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy & Impact at Carbon Equity, a climate investment platform that enables private investors to access high-quality climate solutions. Founded five years ago, Carbon Equity now manages over $400 million in assets from more than 1,500 investors, investing across venture capital, private equity, infrastructure, and co-investment strategies.

Through the platform, Liza and her team have invested in more than 30 leading climate funds, including BEV, EIP, and DCVC, supporting over 250 underlying portfolio companies working on solutions across the energy transition.

At Carbon Equity, Liza leads the platform's climate impact strategy, due diligence, and reporting, ensuring that investments deliver both financial returns and measurable environmental impact. She is also actively involved in shaping international standards for climate investing through initiatives such as Project Frame and the GIIN, and regularly speaks and publishes on the energy transition.

Before founding Carbon Equity, Liza worked as an energy transition consultant at McKinsey and as a researcher in impact investing.
