Michelle Steggerda works at the intersection of finance and systemic change, driven by a desire to contribute to an economy that prioritises the well-being of both people and the planet.

She began her career at Triodos Bank, where she worked in the credit department, before moving into the non-profit sector. There she worked with organisations focused on improving access to finance in emerging economies, supporting entrepreneurs and communities in building more resilient local economies.

Since 2025, Michelle has been an Investment Manager at B the Change Investments, a family office that invests in companies contributing to sustainable food systems and stronger communities.

During the panel "The Opportunities of Today," Michelle joins fellow speakers to explore the most urgent challenges of our time, and the opportunities they present across materials and the economy, soil, land, and water, and social systems.
