Lisette Schuitemaker
Sunday, April 12th | Breakout: Deepdive in the Portfolios of Experienced Impact Investors
Lisette Schuitemaker is an investor, writer, and long-standing pioneer in the field of impact investing. Her journey began in the early 1990s, when she started questioning the values and criteria behind traditional business and investment decisions. This led her to sell her communications agency and immerse herself in emerging networks focused on purpose-driven entrepreneurship, including the Social Venture Network Europe, where she later served on the board.
Around that time, Lisette became involved with Pymwymic, founded by Frank van Beuningen, and has since been part of its evolution into a pioneering investment community focused on regenerative agriculture. Today, she serves as chair of the organization.
Alongside her investment work, Lisette is also an author, exploring the deeper patterns that shape our inner world and our relationship with money, purpose, and meaning.
Her investment interests include themes such as system change, regenerative agriculture, participatory co-living, awareness, and technology for good.
During the breakout session "Deepdive in the Portfolios of Experienced Impact Investors," Lisette Schuitemaker joins fellow investors to share insights from decades of experience, reflecting on how portfolios evolve over time and what it takes to invest for meaningful, long-term impact.
