Sunday, April 12th | Breakouts: The Meaning of Money in Your Family & How Do You Tell Your Children

Marianne Verhaar has spent more than 35 years working across the financial sector, family businesses, and philanthropy. Over the course of her career, she has come to see that wealth is never only about capital; it is also about people, values, and continuity across generations.

Through her work, Marianne discovered something fundamental: meaningful impact often emerges where different worlds meet: business and society, strategy and intuition, financial return and purpose.

Her involvement with organisations such as Terre des Hommes and The Hunger Project further deepened her conviction that financial resources and purpose can reinforce each other to create lasting change.

From this perspective, she founded InDialoog, where she advises entrepreneurial families and impact-driven organisations on vision, governance, and intergenerational collaboration. As an independent sparring partner, she creates space for conversations that resonate both rationally and emotionally, helping families articulate shared values and a collective vision for the future.

During the breakout sessions "The Meaning of Money in Your Family" and "How Do You Tell Your Children", Marianne Verhaar and Frank van Beuningen invite participants to explore how families can engage in open conversations about wealth, values, and responsibility across generations.
