Patrice Schneider

Patrice Schneider is MDIF’S Chief Strategy Officer.

Patrice started his publishing career as a journalist reporting from conflicts in Central Asia at the end of the 1980s. Before joining MDIF in 2002, within the AOL Time Warner Group he served as Managing Director of Netscape Europe.
In 1998, before joining AOL Time Warner, Patrice was a Senior Adviser for the World Economic Forum (The Davos Annual Meeting).
From 1994 to 1998 he was Deputy Managing Director at Hachette Filipacchi Medias – the leading French publishing.
Previously Patrice served as Director at the World Association of Newspapers in Paris. 

Patrice is co-founder and Secretary to the Supervisory Board Pluralis – Europe’s first blended capital vehicle that invests towards media plurality that brings together a group of prestigious European media companies, democracy-supporting foundations, and impact investors.
