I love it when finance is applied as a force for good. I, therefore, work at Wire Group as Chief Conscious Capital, responsible for our Fund of Funds. We are a co-operation based in Utrecht and strive to create a values-driven economy. Earlier I worked in development finance where I invested in private equity in Latin America and Africa. Also, I wrote a PhD on the role of venture capital in the green transition. Currently, I am a part-time Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology to teach future entrepreneurs and finance professionals how to use finance for good. I also sit on the board of CapaCare International, an NGO which increases the level of skilled staff at rural hospitals in Sierra Leone and Liberia and scientifically documents the effects this has. I have 4 kids and enjoy playing tennis.
