Berend Sauer is a NextGen private wealth holder and works as an impact investor at Polestar Capital. He grew up in Moscow, Russia, studied in the United States and the United Kingdom, and now lives in the Netherlands.

Berend, who graduated from the London School of Economics with a background in environmental economics, is passionate about how innovative financial instruments can address the climate crisis. His other interests include climate mitigation and adaptation, energy markets, comparative politics, international relations, and football.
