Four experts in the field share their strategies for investing in Africa, India & Latin America:

Beyond Capital

Eva Helene Yazhari - CEO

Eva  Yazhari has been an active investor in Emerging Markets for over ten years. She is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO) and on the executive committee of the Personal Investing Network. She serves on corporate boards and leads the learning pillar for the YPO Impact Investing Initiative. Eva is also the co-host of the Beyond Capital Podcast, founder of 'The Conscious Investor' online magazine, and author of ‘The Good Your Money Can Do.’

AlphaMundi

José Lozano -  Director

José Lozano , Director of AlphaMundi, will present the SAIF Bastion Fund, a debt fund focusing on Eastern Africa and Northern Latin America.

José joined AlphaMundi as a Manager in Bogota, Colombia, in May 2020. Previously, he worked for 6 years in Alianza Fiduciaria & Alianza Valores, as leading asset manager. At Alianza, José structured fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments mutual funds and voluntary pension portfolios, led the business intelligence team and headed the equity research unit responsible for evaluating companies listed in the Colombian Stock Exchange.

Goodwell

Karyn Munyengeterwa - Investor Relations Associate

Karyn Munyengeterwa,  Investor Relations at Goodwell will present the ‘Goodwell V’, a Private Equity Fund providing equity to social and environmental enterprises in Sub-Sahara Africa.

Prior to joining the Goodwell team, Karyn worked at a Shelter Afrique, supporting Treasury and Resource Mobilization to fund affordable housing in Africa. Karyn is a Chartered Development Finance Analyst (CDFA) and holds a Master of Commerce degree in Development Finance from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. Currently, Karyn is a candidate for the CFA ESG Investing certification. 

Incofin

Paul Buysens - co-CEO

Paul Buysens, co-CEO of Incofin, will present the newly launched global Incofin Water Fund. Incofin is an impact investment company active in emerging markets in sectors ranging from financial inclusion and sustainable agri-food value chains, to drinking water. The company supports inclusive progress and sustainable transitions through private equity investments, debt financing and technical assistance. The Incofin teams, based in Belgium, Colombia, Kenya, India and Cambodia, have invested USD 3 billion over the last 20 years.

Paul joined Incofin in 2017 as COO and is since 2022 co-CEO, focusing primarily on fund development and investor relations. Before joining Incofin, Paul worked for 10 years at General Electric (GE Capital) as finance executive and 3 years at Deloitte as auditor.

Lendahand

Peter Stolze - COO

Peter Stolze, COO and co-founder of Lendahand will present the Lendahand solutions to fighting poverty, including the Lendahand Impact+ Proposition.

Peter is a former Manager of Corporate Strategy at T-Mobile and Manager of Microfinance at Cordaid. As the COO of Lendahand Peter is dedicated to helping Lendahand maintain operational excellence throughout his various responsibilities. 

After the presentations, you'll split off into breakout groups, where the speakers answer your questions.
