PYM – The Conscious Investors’ Community welcomes Anke de Boer as Partnerships Manager
AMSTERDAM, March 2026
Anke joins PYM with a background spanning climate action, environmental policy, and nonprofit work, where she has worked in roles focused on partnerships, fundraising, operations, and community building. Originally from Friesland, one of the historic eleven ice skating cities, her curiosity about the world took her abroad after completing her bachelor’s degree in Amsterdam. She spent five years living and working internationally in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Her path into climate and impact work began in Australia, where witnessing the devastating bushfires sparked her involvement in the youth cli§mate movement. This experience led her to pursue a Master’s in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics. She later continued working across the climate NGO sector, supporting mission-driven organizations in roles spanning fundraising, operations, partnerships and program coordination.
Recognizing the crucial role that capital plays in enabling systemic change, Anke pursued further training in impact investing and sustainable finance in Zurich. Joining PYM represents a natural next step in combining her experience and interests in climate action, partnerships, and systems change.
Suzanne Rosman, Director of PYM, welcomes Anke to the team: “We are very excited to have Anke join the PYM team. She brings a background in the climate and nonprofit sector, along with hands-on work in partnerships and community building. Her energy and perspective will be a great addition as we continue to grow our community and strengthen collaborations across the impact ecosystem.”
As Partnerships Manager, Anke will focus on building and strengthening relationships with PYM’s Trusted Partners and the wider community of investors, foundations, and ecosystem actors. She will also support the development of partnerships that help accelerate the shift toward more conscious and impactful capital.
Anke shares: “PYM feels like the perfect place to bring together my experience in climate work and my growing interest in impact investing. I’m excited to contribute to building strong partnerships with our Trusted Partners, to help make the case for impact investing, and to engage with the inspiring community of investors and professionals that make up the PYM network.”
After her first days at PYM, her initial impression is clear: “What immediately stood out to me is how inspiring this community is. There is so much knowledge, excitement, and willingness to learn from one another. The peer-to-peer nature of the network creates a unique space for honest conversations about capital and impact.”
One thing that has shaped Anke’s work throughout her career is the importance of involving the next generation in climate and impact work.
“Young people consistently bring fresh perspectives, urgency, and creativity to solving complex problems. I care deeply about creating space for the next generation to engage in climate and impact work, not just as participants, but as active contributors to shaping the future of our (economic) systems.”
Outside of work, Anke can often be found running (with two half marathons on the agenda this year!) and she hopes to complete her first full marathon next year. She also has a deep appreciation for good coffee, great food, and loves bringing people together around the table by hosting dinner parties for friends and family whenever she gets the chance.
