Operations Manager

Laura is driven by the question of how impactful ideas become reality. She enjoys bringing structure to complexity and helps organizations translate plans into concrete programs and activities that truly set things in motion.

She studied Cultural and Social Development at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where she developed an impact measurement system for TEDxAmsterdamEducation as her graduation project. Afterwards, she worked for several years at Kinder, a platform that makes effective altruism accessible. Over the years, her awareness grew that good ideas alone are not enough, and she delved deeper into event design to better understand how to create experiences that truly spark change.

Within PYM, Laura has been involved as Operations Manager almost from the very beginning, helping to build the organization. She works on daily operations, brings structure, and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. In addition, she plays a central role in organizing activities, from small-scale gatherings to the multi-day Impact Days.
