Investing in Sustainable Fashion

Tuesday 5 October 2021, 16:00-18:00 CET

Fashion and Sustainability. How to align the two?

The fashion industry is one of the world’s most polluting industries. Enormous amounts of chemicals, raw materials and water are needed to produce the textiles, not to mention the social conditions and labor practices when making the garment. Once produced, 60% of all clothing goes to landfill or is incinerated within a year.
A change is needed, a transformation, not only by the fashion industry but also from ourselves and our consumer habits. No quick fixes or easy answers though.

When: Tuesday 5 October 2021 from 16:00 till 18:00 CET
Hosts: Corinne Heijn and Tamar Guttmann

What can you expect?
A safe space where you are able to connect with likeminded women and learn from fellow women sharing their personal 'money stories’ and impact journeys. The program is designed to be relevant for all of you regardless of how advanced you are in ‘your investment journey’.

The World Café Process
A creative process for sharing stories. After the plenary session with the speakers, we work in small groups addressing a series of deepening questions about the topic in 'breakout rooms’ on the zoom platform. These small group conversations will be led by table hosts.
