
Kim Humby
Kim Humby is the Communications Lead at Goodwell Investments. Goodwell Investments is an early-stage impact investment firm focused on inclusive growth in emerging markets. Goodwell channels capital to scalable business solutions that combine demonstrable social and environmental impact with commercial financial returns. The company has raised over four funds focused on emerging markets with an AUM of more than EUR 160M.
Prior to Goodwell, Kim was Head of communications for Nomanini, a pan-African financial inclusion company based in South Africa, her home country. Now based in Amsterdam, Kim is committed to growing the early-stage entrepreneurial landscape in Africa and is involved in various initiatives as a mentor and event organizer. She has served as a mentor and judge for Techstars Startup Weekend Cape Town and is a mentor for the Africa Impact Challenge. Additionally, Kim is the event director for the African Fintech Unconference and served on the organizing committees for TEDxCapeTown and TEDxCapeTownWomen.
Kim holds double Master of Science degrees in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability, and Business Admiration from the Technical University Berlin and Twente University, respectively.
