After working in investment banking in London for 23 years, Maurits became involved in impact investing as part of his activities within the Ashoka Support Network. In 2017, he moved back to Amsterdam and, together with his wife Petra, started Blue Parasol Investments to build a diversified impact portfolio. Maurits serves on the board of Ashoka Netherlands.
