Do you have a passion for impact investing? Are you enthusiastic about our mission and do you enjoy working in a small organization where you can make a big difference? We are looking for a Relationships & Operations Manager Belgium.

PYM (Pledge Your Money) is the platform in the Benelux for private investors and families who want to learn about impact investing. We inspire, share knowledge, and connect people who want to use their wealth for a better world—with social, ecological, and financial returns.

As an independent foundation, we now work together with around 2,500 potential and active conscious investors. We are supported by 23 “Trusted Partners,” including banks, funds, and family offices that are committed to the impact ecosystem.

Our headquarters is in Amsterdam, with a branch office in Brussels where our Belgian board members Myleen Verstraete and Philippe Lambrecht are based.

The function

As the Relationships & Operations Manager, you play a central role within our organization. You are jointly responsible for strengthening the network of PYM Belgium and further developing long-term collaborations with our Belgian partners in Belgium. You are also the operational linchpin of PYM Belgium.

This role is crucial to support the growth of PYM Belgium and to translate the vision and strategy of PYM into strong execution.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Stakeholder management: Together with the director, who is based in the Netherlands, and the two Belgian board members, you maintain relationships with existing Belgian Trusted Partners and work with the Partnerships Manager in the Netherlands to develop activities with all Trusted Partners in Belgium.

  • Member management: You are the first point of contact for Belgian members and responsible for a significant part of the communication with them, as well as for understanding and capturing their needs and expectations.

  • Business development: You strengthen PYM’s position in Belgium as the meeting place for (future) impact investors and build relationships with new Trusted, knowledge, and network partners. In addition, you may speak or host on behalf of PYM at events if necessary.

  • Events and programs: You are jointly responsible for the content programming of our events in Belgium, with an eye for relevant themes, speakers, and current developments within impact investing. Additionally, you are responsible for the logistics, communication, and budget management of these events.

  • Administrative support: Together with PYM NL, you are responsible for updating the HubSpot database regarding members and partners. You are also responsible for the all-round operational support of PYM Belgium.
  • You report to the director in the Netherlands and the two Belgian board members.

Profile

We are looking for an impact investment professional with strong communication, relational, and operational skills.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of or experience with (sustainable) investing, finance, and/or impact investing
  • Experience with business development, investor relations, and/or relationship management.
  • Strong in organization, follow-up, and bringing structure.
  • A team player with an accurate, proactive, and independent working style.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch, English, and French.
  • Affinity with community building and organizing (online and offline) events.
  • Willingness to occasionally attend events (also in the evenings).

We offer

  • A meaningful job or freelance assignment for 16 to 24 hours per week.
  • The opportunity to further develop an impactful foundation within a driven and experienced international team.
  • An inspiring work environment where you directly contribute to the growth of impact investing in the Benelux.
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options (although you are always welcome at our office in Amsterdam or Brussels).
  • A competitive salary and room for personal and professional development.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the world of impact investing from the inside and access to relevant leading events and programs.
