Impact investing as a family
Impact investing within families brings unique questions, from joint decision-making to differences between generations. Within PYM, families share their experiences and learn from each other how to use their wealth in a meaningful way.

Sister and brother Stephanie and Adriaan ran the family business together for many years, originally founded by their grandfather in 1937. After selling the company, they each chose separately to invest part of their wealth in impact.

Maud van Beuningen began her career in law. She worked in the legal profession and as a lawyer both in the Netherlands and abroad, in project finance and at an investment office. She is now an executive at PYM. Her strong sense of justice remains an important motivation in everything she does.
Donation money and business money can be good friends
Ilse Bastmeijer started the Goeie Grutten foundation in 2016, using family wealth. She soon discovered impact investing. Now, she is both an impact investor and a philanthropist with a focus on food, energy, democracy, privacy, and media.
2. Attend an introduction webinar
Attend one of our online introductory sessions and feel free to invite a family member to join as well. This way, you will gain insight together into what impact investing entails and learn from real-life examples from other investors.
3. Speak with a PYM ambassador
