Impact Circle

Would you like to start impact investing, or are you already investing in impact and looking to further develop your approach? In a PYM Impact Circle, you join a small group of private wealth holders for six in-depth sessions.

You'll learn from the experiences of fellow participants as well as experienced impact investors and experts. There is plenty of room to discuss questions and dilemmas and explore what impact investing could mean for your own wealth. The content is tailored to the group's experience and questions.

Impact Circles are exclusively for private wealth holders* and take place in a confidential setting.

*Private wealth holders invest with their personal assets and have a minimum investable wealth of €500,000 (or are NextGeneration Wealth holders).

This autumn, new Impact Circles will start in:

• Amsterdam - Start Wednesday October 21st
• Rotterdam
• Online

Based on interest, we are also exploring new Circles in other locations, including Amersfoort and Hilversum.

Do you live somewhere else? Feel free to sign up and let us know where you are based. If there is enough interest, we will try to bring together participants from the same region.

In-person sessions generally take place every two weeks on a weekday evening from 18:00 to 21:30 and include dinner. We coordinate the exact days and times with the group as much as possible.

An Impact Circle consists of 6 sessions, guided by 2 experienced impact investors.

During the first sessions, we focus on your own goals, values and questions. From there, we explore different ways of investing with impact in greater depth. From the second or third session onwards, experts also join to share their knowledge and experience. There is always plenty of room for questions, discussion and exchanging experiences within the group.

Topics generally include:

• Your personal goals and values
• The fundamentals of impact investing
• Cash and listed investments with impact
• Direct investments, risk appetite and engagement
• Impact funds, including Venture Capital, Private Equity and Fund-of-Funds
• Financial planning and developing your own investment plan

The exact content varies by Circle and is tailored to participants' experience and interests.

Depending on the group, we may plan additional sessions to explore other topics.

Impact Circles are for both new and more experienced impact investors. You don't need to have made any impact investments yet to participate.

The Circles are exclusively for private wealth holders: people who personally, or within their family, have at least €500,000 in investable assets.

Being able to speak openly about money, choices, doubts, and experiences is an important part of an Impact Circle. That is why personal information shared during the sessions stays within the group. You are, of course, welcome to share what you have learned, but not the personal stories of other participants.

PYM is an independent foundation without commercial interests. We organize Impact Circles to help private wealth holders take both their first and their next steps in impact investing.

As a foundation, we do not charge a fixed participation fee for the Circle. Afterward, we invite you to contribute based on the value it provided. As a reference point, you might consider a contribution starting around €800. Your donation helps PYM make these Circles and other activities for the impact investing community possible.
