About Astanor

Astanor Ventures is a global impact venture capital investor, founded in 2017 and based in Brussels, with a focus on the food and agriculture system. The fund manages over €800 million and invests in technology-driven companies that contribute to a more sustainable and regenerative bio-economy.

Astanor takes an integrated approach to the food chain — from soil and agricultural practices to production, distribution, and consumption. The fund invests in both early and later-stage companies active in areas such as regenerative agriculture, alternative proteins, food technology, supply chain innovation, and data-driven solutions. The portfolio includes a diverse range of companies, from agtech and novel protein sources to sustainable packaging and digital infrastructure for food production.

As an SFDR Article 9 fund and B Corp, Astanor integrates impact throughout the entire investment process. For each investment, clear impact objectives are set, linked to themes such as climate, biodiversity, resource efficiency, and health. In addition to capital, the fund actively supports companies with strategy, scaling, and impact measurement.

Astanor focuses on solutions that contribute to more efficient, resilient, and sustainable food systems, thereby playing a role in scaling innovations within the agrifood sector.
