Oikocredit is an international social impact investor and cooperative, founded in 1975. Our mission is to enable low-income people to improve their lives and strengthen their communities.
Today, Oikocredit manages approximately €1 billion in assets on behalf of a global community of investors who believe that investing should go beyond financial returns. With a strong local presence in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, we work closely with partners who drive sustainable economic development from the ground up.

What we invest in

Oikocredit provides loans and makes equity investments in carefully selected partners in emerging markets, within three core areas:
