Impact Finance Belgium (IFB) is a network of more than 50 members, together representing 75% of the Belgian financial sector. The organization brings together financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to accelerate the growth of impact finance in Belgium.
Through advocacy, organizing events, and sharing knowledge, IFB contributes to shaping policy, stimulating collaboration, and developing innovative financial solutions with measurable positive effects for people and the environment. IFB organizes events, working groups, and training sessions, provides research and insights, and puts the achievements of its community in the spotlight. By facilitating these activities, IFB enables its members to mobilize capital, close financing gaps, and place impact at the center of financial decision-making.
IFB believes that impact finance is essential to strengthen resilience, address critical funding gaps, and tackle societal challenges. The organization’s ambition is to anchor impact as an equal criterion alongside risk and return in every financial decision. By 2030, IFB aims for 30% of all investments in Belgium to be focused on positive impact.
